Wychbury Inn, Hagley, the home of Thai Food

About Us

Wychbury Inn owes its name to Wychbury Hill, upon which slops it gently rests, and has been a public house at that site for many years, changing its name on previous occasions, the last being The Spencers Arms. As the years have rolled by and  Hagley has changed, so has the pub.

This latest change sees the union of a well established village inn with the owners of a chain of Thai restaurants, bringing this very exciting new business to the people of Hagley. Thai food is increasing in popularity, with more and more restaurants opening daily. Hagley was formerly renowned as the home of Thai food, and it is now back with a vengeance.

Wychbury Inn is a popular pub, keeping up with the times and what its customers really want; this amalgamation brings the skill of Specialist Thai Chef’s trained in the best 5 star hotels in Thailand to serve the people of Hagley with some wonderful healthy dishes, brought to your table by professional Thai waiting staff in traditional Thai costume. If you close your eyes you can easily be mistaken for thinking you have travelled 6000 miles to the Kingdom of Thailand.

In the bar the pub still retains the ambiance of a village pub offering a wide variety of beers, lagers, spirits, wines and soft drinks. You can sit and chat at the bar, relax in comfortable plush leather seating, chill out outside in the smoking area or wander the garden lost in your own thoughts.

Stop off on your way home in the evening to sample the daily Thai titbits’ on the bar over a cool long drink, to help wind down after a long stressful day at work, take the opportunity to take home a Thai takeaway (and win some brownie points) or relax in the restaurant over a wonderful meal.

Our prices are very reasonable and we use only fresh ingredients, we know what we are doing, as we have been here before.
